Plastic MBBR Bio Film Carrier Product Introduction
Plastic K1 MBBR biofilm carrier is the core suspended filler applied in Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor wastewater treatment system. It is manufactured from high-quality modified HDPE raw material through precise extrusion molding. Featuring special hollow cylindrical structure, the carrier can suspend and fluid freely inside the aeration tank under aeration stirring.
As the ideal carrier for microbial immobilization, both inner and outer surfaces of K1 MBBR carrier provide abundant growth space for aerobic, anoxic and anaerobic microorganisms. Dense biofilm gradually forms on the surface to realize nitrification, denitrification and organic matter degradation simultaneously.
Compared with traditional fixed packing, K1 MBBR carrier avoids blocking problems. The fluidized state enables full contact between wastewater, dissolved oxygen and biofilm, greatly improving pollutant removal efficiency. This product is widely adopted for upgrading old sewage treatment projects and constructing new wastewater facilities. It suits municipal domestic sewage, aquaculture wastewater, food processing wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater and other organic wastewater treatment projects.
Our K1 MBBR carrier owns stable physical properties, excellent abrasion resistance and long service life. No fragment or debris will be generated during long-time continuous operation, which effectively prevents pipeline and filter blockage. With moderate density, it only requires low aeration volume to achieve full fluidization, helping customers cut energy consumption and operation costs of the whole wastewater treatment station.
