Metal Mesh Corrugated Packing Product Introduction
Metal Mesh Corrugated Packing is a high-efficiency wire mesh structured packing specially designed for mass transfer in separation towers. It is fabricated by stacking orderly arranged corrugated stainless steel wire mesh sheets according to specific angles. Compared with traditional random packing and plate structured packing, this packing relies on ultra-fine metal wire mesh to form uniform capillary effect, which enables the liquid phase to spread evenly into a thin film on the packing surface.
Common raw materials include stainless steel 304 and 316L, and other alloy materials can be customized to adapt to corrosive media. With unique structural characteristics, the packing owns low pressure drop, high mass transfer efficiency and stable fluid distribution performance. It can effectively avoid liquid channeling and uneven flow inside the tower.
This metal mesh corrugated structured packing is widely applied in distillation, rectification, absorption, stripping and gas-liquid separation processes. Typical scenarios include fine chemical industry, petrochemical engineering, pharmaceutical production, food processing and solvent recovery systems. Multiple standard specifications are available, and customized sizes, material grades and packing assembly solutions are supported to match different tower diameters and operating working conditions.
