    PTFE Demister Product advantages

    Outstanding comprehensive corrosion resistance. The demister is manufactured from pure PTFE raw material, capable of resisting strong acids, strong alkalis and most corrosive organic solvents. It maintains stable performance under harsh chemical working environments and will not be eroded or degraded easily.

    Excellent high and low temperature resistance. The PTFE mist eliminator can operate continuously within the temperature range of -200°C to 260°C. Its physical structure will not deform or soften under long-term high-temperature flue gas conditions.

    Reliable high mist removal efficiency. Adopting knitted wire mesh structure, it can effectively capture tiny liquid droplets contained in airflow. It achieves stable gas-liquid separation effect and helps reduce liquid entrainment in exhaust gas.

    Anti-fouling and difficult to block. PTFE material owns natural non-stick characteristic. Liquid and impurities hardly adhere to the mesh surface, which effectively avoids mesh clogging and greatly extends service cycle while cutting maintenance costs.

    Flexible customized service. We can produce PTFE demisters with different thickness, sizes and shapes including round and rectangular types. Supporting matched support grid processing to perfectly fit various scrubber towers, absorption towers and desulfurization equipment.

    PTFE Demister Product Introduction

    PTFE demister, also named PTFE mist eliminator, is fabricated from virgin PTFE knitted wire mesh. As an efficient gas-liquid separation component, it is widely installed inside scrubber towers, absorption towers, desulfurization towers and waste gas purification equipment.

    When gas carrying liquid droplets passes through the PTFE mesh layer, the airflow changes direction continuously. Liquid droplets collide with the PTFE filaments, gather together and form larger droplets, which finally flow down under gravity to realize separation of gas and liquid.

    Benefiting from the inherent properties of PTFE material, this demister features extraordinary resistance to strong acid, strong alkali and various corrosive chemical media. It can keep stable performance under extreme working temperature ranging from -200°C to 260°C. Thanks to its non-stick surface, impurities are not easy to adhere to the mesh, effectively preventing blockage and lowering maintenance frequency.

    We are able to provide customized PTFE demisters in various specifications. Different wire diameters, thicknesses, dimensions and shapes including rectangular and circular are available. Supporting matched PTFE or plastic support grids to meet diverse requirements of industrial waste gas treatment projects.
