PTFE Demister Product Introduction
PTFE demister, also named PTFE mist eliminator, is manufactured from knitted pure PTFE wire mesh. Compared with metal demisters, it features outstanding anti-corrosion property and works reliably in severely corrosive working environments.
The intertwined PTFE mesh structure forms countless tiny channels. When gas carrying liquid droplets passes through the demister, droplets collide with PTFE filaments, gather together and flow down under gravity, realizing efficient gas-liquid separation.
This PTFE demister can withstand strong acid, strong alkali and most organic solvents. It adapts to a wide temperature range and will not rust or degrade. Widely installed inside scrubber towers, absorption towers and reaction towers for waste gas purification in chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgy and environmental protection industries.
We can customize the demister in round, rectangular or special shapes according to customer tower dimensions. Different thickness and supporting frames are optional to satisfy various operating parameters.
