How to Select Polypropylene Pall Ring Packing
Small size (25mm / 38mm): Higher specific surface area, suitable for columns requiring high mass transfer efficiency, medium gas load.
Large size (50mm /76mm /100mm): Lower pressure drop, larger flux, for towers with high gas volume and large diameter.
Material upgrade: For higher temperature or stronger corrosion, select RPP reinforced polypropylene or PVDF pall ring packing instead of standard PP grade. Medium reminder: Standard polypropylene pall ring packing is NOT suitable for strong oxidizing media such as concentrated nitric acid and high concentration chlorine.

Compared with ceramic Raschig ring: Polypropylene pall ring packing is lighter, anti-breakage, easier tower loading and better anti-corrosion. Compared with metal pall ring: PP pall ring packing has excellent resistance to dilute acid and alkali without rusting, much lower cost for corrosive working conditions. Compared with plastic Raschig ring: Polypropylene pall ring packing has lower pressure drop and far better mass transfer effect.
