Plastic Pall Ring Product Introduction
Plastic pall ring is one of the most widely used random tower packing, upgraded based on the traditional raschig ring. It features multiple window cut‑outs on the ring wall with inward‑bent tongues, which greatly improves gas‑liquid contact efficiency. Made of various thermoplastic materials, this packing owns excellent corrosion resistance, light weight and low pressure drop, suitable for mass transfer operations in chemical, petrochemical, environmental protection, fertilizer and pharmaceutical industries.
The unique open‑wall structure reduces stacking resistance, increases void fraction, and enables uniform distribution of gas and liquid inside the tower. Liquid can flow through both the ring surface and side windows, avoiding liquid channeling and dead zones. Compared with raschig ring, plastic pall ring delivers higher mass transfer efficiency, larger processing capacity and lower pressure loss.
Available in multiple sizes from 16mm to 100mm. Common material options include PP, PE, PVC, CPVC and PVDF. Different materials adapt to diverse working temperature and corrosive medium conditions. PP grade is for general corrosive medium under moderate temperature; PVDF version performs well under strong acid, alkali and high‑temperature working conditions.
