5A Molecular Sieve Product Introduction
5A Molecular Sieve is a type of alkali metal aluminosilicate zeolite with an effective pore opening of approximately 0.5nm. It can selectively adsorb molecules whose kinetic diameter is smaller than its pore size, including water vapor, carbon dioxide, ammonia and straight-chain hydrocarbons, while excluding branched-chain hydrocarbons and cyclic hydrocarbons.
With reliable adsorption selectivity, high adsorption capacity and outstanding mechanical strength, 5A molecular sieve is widely adopted in numerous industrial processes. Typical applications cover PSA oxygen and nitrogen separation, natural gas dehydration, removal of water and CO₂ from air, hydrocarbon separation in petrochemical industry, as well as drying of liquid paraffin.
This product features low dust generation, excellent thermal stability and stable performance under continuous operating conditions. It can be regenerated through pressure swing or thermal desorption for repeated use, effectively reducing long-term operating costs. We can supply spherical and pellet 5A molecular sieve with different particle sizes to meet diversified requirements from gas purification, chemical processing and other engineering projects. Custom specifications are available upon customer request.
