Metal Nutter Ring Product Introduction
Metal Nutter Ring is a high-performance metallic random tower packing originally designed by Dale Nutter in 1984. It adopts a unique saddle-ring combined structure with flanged reinforcing ribs and reserved holes, which effectively reduces nesting between packing pieces and improves overall structural stabilitySulzer.
This packing optimizes lateral liquid spreading and continuous surface film renewal inside the tower, achieving outstanding surface utilization and superior gas-liquid mass transfer efficiency. Compared with conventional random packings such as pall rings and cascade mini rings, Metal Nutter Ring features high void fraction, large processing capacity, low pressure drop and wide operating flexibility, helping enterprises cut energy consumption and operating costs while shortening the required packed bed height to save tower construction investment.
We manufacture Metal Nutter Ring from multiple corrosion-resistant metal materials, including 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, carbon steel, Hastelloy C276 and duplex steel, to adapt to high temperature, strong acid, strong alkali and other harsh working conditions. A complete range of standard sizes from DN16 to DN150 is available in stock, and customized dimensions, sheet thickness and special alloy options can be offered according to customer technical specifications.
