Metal Super Raschig Ring Performance Advantages
High throughput:Due to its unique structure and large porosity, super metal Raschig ring packing has a load capacity of more than 30% compared to traditional packings, enabling it to handle larger flow rates of gas-liquid mixtures.
Low resistance:The pressure drop of gas passing through the packing layer can be reduced by nearly 70%, which greatly reduces energy consumption and is especially suitable for processes with stringent pressure drop requirements, such as vacuum distillation.
High separation efficiency:With a larger specific surface area, it can provide more gas-liquid mass transfer interfaces, and the separation efficiency is more than 10% higher than that of traditional media, which can effectively improve the purity and quality of products.
Good heat resistance:The metallic material gives it excellent heat resistance, enabling it to operate stably at high temperatures. It is suitable for handling heat-sensitive, easily decomposed, easily polymerized, and easily carbonized materials.
Super Metal Raschig Rings are typically made by stamping thin metal sheets. Their structure is a double-layered conjugate shape with special openings and pleats on the ring body. This structure results in a high porosity of the packing and promotes uniform distribution and full contact between the gas and liquid phases, thereby improving mass transfer efficiency.
