Ceramic Structured Packing Product Introduction
Ceramic Structured Packing, also called ceramic corrugated plate structured packing or Kelapak packing, is a high-efficiency tower internal filler assembled by stacked ceramic corrugated sheets with staggered inclined angles. Adjacent corrugated ceramic plates are arranged in reverse directions to form crisscross flow channels inside the packing layer. Made of high-purity acid-resistant chemical porcelain or high-alumina ceramic raw materials via high-temperature firing, it features ordered geometric structure, ultra-stable chemical properties and excellent hydrophilicity, which is irreplaceable for severe corrosive working conditions where metal and plastic packing cannot serve long-termly.
Different from random ceramic packing, this structured product boasts neat and uniform gas-liquid flow distribution inside the distillation column, greatly improving mass transfer efficiency while maintaining low gas resistance. It has become the preferred tower internals for rectification, absorption, stripping and waste gas purification in petrochemical, fine chemical, fertilizer and environmental protection industries.
