High Alumina Ceramic Ball Product Introduction
High-alumina ceramic ball is a kind of inert ceramic packing material sintered at ultra-high temperature with high-purity alumina raw materials as the main raw material. It is also commonly named catalyst support ball, tower filling ceramic ball and inert alumina ball, which is one of the most widely used bed protection media in petrochemical, chemical engineering, natural gas purification, fertilizer manufacturing, water treatment and environmental protection industries.
This product is manufactured through precise batching, isostatic pressing forming and high-temperature firing processes. According to different alumina content, it is mainly divided into 92%, 95% and 99% series products, with complete particle size specifications ranging from 3mm to 50mm. The finished ball body features regular spherical shape, compact internal structure, low water absorption and low porosity. Compared with ordinary ceramic balls, it has far superior mechanical compression resistance, abrasion resistance and high-temperature oxidation resistance.
In industrial tower equipment such as adsorption columns, rectification towers, reactors and desulfurization tanks, high-alumina ceramic balls are mostly laid on the upper and lower layers of the catalyst bed. On the one hand, it can buffer the impact of incoming airflow and liquid flow to prevent the catalyst from being crushed and pulverized by direct impact; on the other hand, the uniform gaps between stacked balls can realize even distribution of gas and liquid media, eliminate channeling and dead zones inside the tower, greatly improve the efficiency of mass transfer, adsorption and catalytic reaction, and stabilize the running state of the whole set of tower equipment.
Our factory can provide standard spot products and personalized customized services. We can adjust alumina proportion, bulk density, particle size and compressive strength according to customers’ actual working pressure, temperature and medium environment. All products are strictly inspected before delivery with complete test reports, supporting bulk wholesale and container transportation, and can meet the supporting packing demands of large chemical projects and small laboratory equipment at home and abroad.
