Metal Corrugated Plate Packing Material Properties
1. High tensile & compressive strength
The variants of stainless steel exhibit a tensile strength that falls within the range of 500 to 700 megapascals, endowing them with the capability to endure deformation under process loads and resist impact during installation.
2. Wear resistance:
Hard metal surfaces resist abrasion from fluid flow or minor solid particles, ensuring long-term structural integrity.

3. Corrosion resistance
Stainless steel grades 304 and 316L exhibit commendable resistance to dilute acids, organic solvents, and neutral solutions.
4. Low chemical inertness risk
Metallic surfaces typically exhibit a high degree of inertness towards the majority of process fluids, thereby preventing product contamination.
5. Wide temperature adaptability
Stainless steel remains stable at -196°C (cryogenic) up to approximately 600°C (high-temperature), making it suitable for both cryogenic separation (e.g., LNG processing) and moderate-heat distillation (e.g., petrochemical refining).
6. High thermal conductivity
The intrinsic high thermal conductivity of metal, facilitates rapid heat transfer across phases, thereby diminishing local temperature differentials and enhancing separation efficiency.
